This was my first time at NAJYRC not as a rider and boy what a difference. Kudos to all the chefs and people behind the scenes. I have a new appreciation. As a non-rider I must say there is nothing more heartwarming than the stories of the kids that made it here through struggles, without the best horses and show just a huge connection and love with their horse. That is priceless… thanks to those of you that inspire me.

Also, to the kids who show exceptional sportsmanship, who were out grazing their horses at 5:30 a.m. with smiles on, who kept a positive attitude even after failing the first jog and those who rode beautifully on even average horses… congrats! I have to believe that you will learn so many life lessons and positive qualities that will help you throughout life, that you are the true winners!
